Harvest Christian Center has been serving Knox County, Ohio and the surrounding community since launching in 2002. We have been blessed by the Lord to see growth in every area of our ministry from the young people and single adults to our various adult ministries. Our desire is to offer the truth and hope of the Full Gospel of Jesus Christ in a relevant way to each and every person. Harvest Christian Center is a full Gospel church affiliated with the Assemblies of God and since our beginning, we’ve bought property on hwy 36 between Mount Vernon and Howard, Ohio. Our intentions are to build a multi-purpose building to better develop our weekly ministry to all ages as well as programs to the young people of our community. We believe the church is the people, not the steeple. However, our future facility will help “facilitate” the vision God has given us. We presently hold our Sunday services at 10:45am at the Dan Emmett Conference Center located at 160 Howard St. in Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050. |

MISSION STATEMENT Our Mission at HCC is simply: " LOVE - LIVE & LEAD." 1) Love the Lord with all your heart, mind and soul and love your neighbor as yourself, 2) Live a Godly Life 24/7 and finally 3) Lead by your personal example; as Paul said, "Follow my example as I follow the example of Christ." We need to Lead the lost to Jesus and then lead other believers into a deeper spiritual walk. LOVE = MATT. 22:36 "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" 37 Jesus replied: " `Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: `Love your neighbor as yourself.' 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." LIVE = Eph. 5:8 "For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light." LEAD = 1 Corinthians 11:1 "Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ." |
